The Rivalry
John Mundy started the campaign
Everyone knows that the Atlantic Coast Conference's most storied rivalry is the long-simmering feud between Boston College and Wake Forest University, but it seldom (never) gets the attention it deserves! Blogger So Dear's J.P. Mundy and BC Interruption's Brian Favat are out to change that, and along the way do some good for the food banks in the Boston and Winston-Salem communities.

On Friday, September 6 the Eagles and Demon Deacons do battle in Chestnut Hill for 2013 football bragging rights. Between now and then, we will be taking donations from both Eagle and Deac fans- with the kitty being split 51% - 49% based on the result of the game. For example, if Wake Forest wins, 51% of the pot will go to the Second Harvest Food Bank of NW North Carolina, with the remainder going to the Greater Boston Food Bank.

We humbly ask you to contribute early and often! You may contribute any amount, and remember that no matter the victor the food bank in your community is going to win!
