Those of you who know me know that music is my life.

I will go anywhere and do anything for my favorite bands.  I have seen TOOL over 20 times, sometimes in 6 cities within a one week period.  I have tattoos paying homage to my favorite singers.  But the days of chasing my favorite bands have been paused while I build my company.  Put another way, I am broke.

10 years ago, Vision of Disorder, one of my Top 3 bands of all times, broke up.

I was heartbroken.

4 years ago, they announced that they would reunite to record a new album.

That time has come.  The album is slated to be released this October, the month of my birthday.

Vision of Disorder has scheduled a record release party for October 19th in their home state of New York.

There is no way I can afford to go to this, and no way I would survive going to a NY hardcore show alone.  I am asking for an early birthday present from anyone who feels inclined to make my 35th birthday one of my best ever.  Please help me and my good friend Randy, also a die hard VOD fan, go to New York for the Vision of Disorder record release show.

We have 10 days to raise the money through CrowdTilt.  If you want to help, you can contribute any amount of money to the "Make Joey the Happiest Person on Earth" campaign.  It will be one of the best birthday presents I have ever received.

If we hit our goal of $800, the money will cover our airfare and tickets to the show.  If we don't raise enough to go, your card will not be charged (and I will cry).

Thank you in advance for even thinking about donating to my selfish cause.  Thank you even more if you actually take it upon yourself to contribute.  And if you don't, I still love you.
