Kayla and Kiera Wilmot Space Academy Scholarships
Homer Hickam started the campaign

Kiera Wilmot (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/05/01/kiera-wilmot-arrested-science-experiment_n_3194768.html), a fine student expelled from her school for a science experiment gone awry has been provided a scholarship to the U.S. Space Academy by Homer Hickam (www.homerhickam.com)! But Kiera has a twin sister, Kayla, who also deserves a chance to attend this college credited program. Please help Kayla go with her sister to the Advanced U.S. Space Academy (www.spacecamp.com)! This will also help cover their transportation.

Kiera and Kayla are now at Space Camp/Academy! They checked in today and now have a week in front of them of classes and activities.  They are delightful young women and we were proud to meet them and take them to their orientation.

Kiera recently blogged about her experience. Linda and I are looking forward to hosting her, sister Kayla, and mom here in Huntsville and then seeing them safely delivered to the Space Academy!  http://www.huffingtonpost.com/kiera-wilmot/an-unexpected-reaction-wh_b_3328210.html
