Help Wu-Tang Clan member RZA and The Hip-Hop Chess Federation (HHCF) fund two new after school programs for high school students in Los Angeles! We need to raise at least $5,000 to make these empowering programs possible. The funds raised will pay for chessboards, clocks, teachers, books and field trips needed to share the power of self discovery and nonviolence.  Any funds left over will go towards the existing HHCF programs in SF, San Jose, Union City, and upcoming Oakland programs. 

The Event: On February 16th 2014  Wu-Tang Clan member RZA will participate in the HHCF will host its Chess Kings Invitational in Los Angeles. The Chess Kings Invitational is a celebrity chess tournament where rappers, actors and MMA and jiu jitsu masters will gather for the cause of peace.  It will be held as part of a high level jiu jitsu tournament called www.KOFinisher.com

About The Hip Hop Chess Federation: HHCF is the world's first non-profit 501(c)3 to fuse music, chess and martial arts to promote unity, strategy and nonviolence. They work with youth of all ages, and backgrounds but focus primarily on at-risk, and gang impacted teens. By promoting a balance between physical and mental fitness, the HHCF is respected as a leader in the realm of education innovation. The organization is respected around the world for their innovative methods in blending art, logic and self discovery to many young people. The HHCF has been covered on Good Morning America, NY TimesForbes, Rolling Stone, and the cover of Chess Life Magazine.  This past summer the HHCF Founder, Adisa "The Bishop" Banjoko spoke at Harvard University and was a presenter at the World Chess Hall of Fame in St. Louis, Missouri.
