Allen Shieh vs. Muscular Dystrophy
Robin Wu started the campaign

Allen Shieh is a young boy in Taiwan with a very rare and severe form of Becker's Muscular Dystrophy. When he was 5, the doctors told him he'd likely be in a wheelchair before his teens, estimating a life expectancy of 17 years.

This June, Allen turned 18. He walks normally and has even started attending Taipei College of Maritime Technology. His resilience has completely shocked his doctors and the medical field as a whole in Taiwan. He has been studied extensively by the top university in Taiwan, Tai Da.

Allen travels around Taiwan, giving talks to those with similar disorders and showing them that they too, can fight their disease.

His family does not have much and the costs for his care have been escalating. I would like to help raise $500 USD for his family. This is enough to cover his transportation to and from his clinic for about a year.

Any additional earnings will be donated towards the Muscular Dystrophy Association. http://mda.org/
