Please Help Cover Funeral Expenses for Alaysha Carradine, 8 Year Old Victim of Gun Violence in Oakland
Rob Bonta started the campaign
Last week, eight-year old Alaysha Carradine was tragically murdered while at a sleep-over at a friend's house.

Now, a family which should have been buying clothes and supplies for third-grade is faced with funeral and burial expenses they cannot afford.

Assemblymember Rob Bonta, Dr. Nyeisha DeWitt, Marilyn Washington, Sean Sullivan, Oakland City Council Pro Tem Rebecca Kaplan, Sarah Tiffany (President, Black Young Democrats of the East Bay), Oakland City Councilmember Libby Schaaf, Oakland City Councilmember Lynette Gibson McElhaney, and Port Commissioner Bryan Parker are joining forces with the Khadafy Foundation for Non-Violence to pay for Alaysha's funeral and burial expenses.
